Church

The churches which members of the CU tend to go to.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. – Hebrews 10:24-25

Church is vital to the healthy spiritual life of all Christians. It is a place to encourage and support one another, worship, study the word, and temper our hearts towards the Lord.

The CU is not a church, and we heavily advise that all members root themselves into a local church. Whilst the CU is great for fostering inter-church relationships and growing a heart for the lost, Church is key for discipleship and mentorship among people from all age groups.

We are fortunate to have many great Churches here in Durham, with a few of them housing staff dedicated to student ministry.

Even those who are non-Christian or are unsure are warmly welcome and are encouraged to see what Church is all about!
