Each college has a smaller CU where students meet weekly to pray and study the word.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.“ – Matthew 5:16
College CUs are vibrant communitieswithin colleges which support one another, have fun, and encourage each other in and outside of weekly meetings.
Here in Durham, we are fortunate that the university is split into colleges, making it easier to form closer friendships. Each student is assigned to one of the 17 colleges and will be a foundational support network throughout your time at university.
Each college (except the Postgraduate college, Ustinov) has a CU associated with it under the Central CU (i.e. Durham CU). These communities meet every week in College to pray for one another, read the Bible, play games, and build stronger bonds in sessions called ‘Explore’.
College CU is also a friendly way for non-Christians to get to know the Bible and to see what Christian community is like!
All College CUs meet at the same time and follow the same Bible study series. All are welcome!
The College CUs
Colleges meet at ‘Explore’ sessions every Monday at 6:30pm.
